This hand-formed cuff is an artistic interpretation of the hamsa symbols.

The hamsa is a palm-shaped amulet popular throughout North Africa and in the Middle East and commonly used in jewelery. Depicting the open right hand, an image recognized and used as a sign of protection in many times throughout history, the hamsa has been traditionally believed to provide defense against the evil eye.

If you look closely you can see this swirled, detailed motif all along the surface of this solid, Sterling Silver cuff.  The cuff measurement is the classic size of 6" that will fit most wrists and is approximately 1/2" wide.  It has an organic-by-intention look and feel as you can see from the edges that were formed as I went along the design trail.

Showcased at the center is a hammered back plate of Sterling and a gorgeous, rose cut London Blue Topaz Gemstone that glistens that classic deep blue hue that only a Blue Topaz can emit.

Please note:  With all of our Woods and Willow pieces, these are handmade so each one is one of a kind and will differ slightly because of the nature of handmade, artisan jewelry.
