Oh my goodness! How I loved designing this multi-strand beauty. Just look at the springtime color palette of cool aquas, milky-pinks and blues melt together to create a bohemian inspired necklace that is sure to gain attention!
This Woods and Willow necklace is completely handmade and all components started with raw materials. The charms started out as Silver Clay that were formed, etched and fired in my kiln for hours to transform them into solid, Sterling Silver. The center charm is in a Mandala teardrop shape with a floral motif that has been lightly oxidized to enhance the details. The center stone is a Marquise shaped, Natural Turquoise and Crystal Doublet stone that mirrors the shape of the charm. It just glistens with aquas and the crystal facets sparkle pinks and greens at every turn. It is truly a unique stone. The three strands consist of a Sterling Silver Ethiopian Opal chain, a beautiful, Rose Quartz beaded chain, and the shortest strand is a Aquamarine beaded chain, that I added a handmade flower charm.
The connectors have the same floral motif as the small charm below. They are two-sided Mandala shaped charms that connect the three strands to faceted Chalcedony stones that ultimately attach to a heavier, Sterling Silver oval linked chain. I used a large, Lobster Claw Clasp that can be secured to any link on the chain to adjust to the length you want to wear this stunner, according to the neckline of your outfits! The longest chain length you can wear this is 28". Please note: This 28" measurement does not include the 2" length of the Mandala charm.
