Azurite Malachite gemstones are believed to release negative feelings, thereby purifying your mind before you embark on new adventures! This mesmerizing blue-green stone is mined Timna Valley in Israel, in operation for over 3,000 years. I chose these unique gemstones for this layered necklace because of their rich, royal blue and deep green hues and how that plays off of this bohemian, layered design.

The longest layer are Sterling Silver bezeled Azurite Malachite gemstones in various shapes. The second layer is a beautiful, Turquoise beaded chain and the third layer is a Lapis Lazuli beaded chain. All three complement each other with their striking, royal azur and green hues! At the center is a handmade oval, organic charm with an oval Lapis that I bezel set. The charm dimensions are 1" wide and 1 1/4" long and the necklace chain hangs about 26" in length.

To add to the artisan feel of this Woods and Willow necklace, I have handmade, Persian motif oval connectors on either side with unique-linked Antique Silver chain that connects to a Sterling Silver Lobster Claw Clasp in the back. I also added dangles of gems to these connectors.

I love the look and feel of this piece and when worn, it is definitely something that is noticed!
